This two hour and twenty minute history channel movie/documentary is currently the best DVD available telling the story of the Mayflower, the Pilgrims, and the first year at Plymouth.  This documentary consists of on-location reenactments using authentic actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Wampanoag nation, and the Plimoth Plantation Museum.  Interspersed between the reenactments are interviews with some prominent historians and authors.  The story is well told, accurately portrayed, beautifully filmed, and well researched.  This is the only Mayflower-related video movie or documentary that I can recommend, nothing else is even in the same league as this one.
