Biographical Summary
Edward Thompson came on the
Mayflower in the care of the William White family. He was
under 21 at the time, as he did not sign the Mayflower Compact. He
was the first Mayflower passenger to die after the ship anchored
off the tip of Cape Cod, as the first expeditions were being sent out to
explore the Cape.
