Biographical Information
Mr. Ely's existence on the Mayflower and in early Plymouth is
known only by one statement, written by William Bradford in 1651:
"There were also other two seamen hired to stay a year here in the
country, William Trevor, and one Ely. But when their time was out they
both returned."
